Just after waiting for what the Hip-Hop community has termed “too, too long,” there’s good news regarding the arrival of Cardi B’s highly-anticipated album.
While accepting the award for Best New Artist at the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards, the Cardi B revealed that her debut would be available in April.
In the speech, Cardi also took the opportunity to thank those close to her, including her finace Offset, for helping her in her elevation thus far and thanking her haters by literally laughing at them through the mic.
Cardi had previously revealed that her debut album would be arriving in January 2018, but she had to put it off for reasons best known to her because she wanted to give her fans the best and wasn’t sure if the songs she had was good enough for the album.
“I have a lot of pressure on me,” Cardi tweeted back in November. “I have songs stashed up. I just don’t think they qualified for my album. Sometimes I think is ready sometimes I think it’s not so I’m going to take my time till it’s right.”
Guess she’s finally gotten the perfection she wanted to give us. April, here we come!!!
